A neighbor told me that he found the following letter on the dash of his truck when he went to leave for work that morning. His truck was parked twenty feet from his front door.
"(3) Project Description..
Re-licensing an existing facility for SOUR service."
"If you have no objections or concerns, please indicate your acceptance by signing below and faxing a copy of the letter to the attention of...." IF WE RECEIVE NO RESPONSE TO THIS LETTER, IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT YOU HAVE NO CONCERNS WITH THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION."
Funny.. I thought the use of "implied consent" was a favorite tactic used only by Encana.
After a little fact finding with a few friends who had vast amounts of experience dealing with the petroleum industry and with a little assistance from me, our neighbor sent the following letter to the EUB...
Several months later I was talking to the neighbour's wife and she mentioned that they just received a reply in response to their June 15th letter and said there was a public meeting scheduled at the hall. When I stopped by to read their letter she could only find page two and gave it to me.
At the time of posting this page, I have no further information to add regarding the status of this situation.
