I don't think Encana people worry too much about respecting their neighbours. Take Mark Taylor's refusal to our request for a written, public apology. Instead we got "an explanation of the miscommunications". What a load of crap. It took four months for it to reach our mail box.
Mr. Sillito reported to us later at our October 2006 kitchen table meeting that Mark Taylor's 'explanation of miscommunications' was considered good enough to put "closure of this matter". This would not be the last time EnCana slammed the door shut on an issue that they did not want to deal with.
I doubt several of Mr Taylor's statements in his letter below but if that is indeed how the story unfolded, what does it say for how things are run at EnCana?
A point to remember is, during the October meeting with Sillito (at our kitchen table), it was Dad who took this petty issue off the table in order for us to move on with all the more important matters at hand.
Personally, I'm still waiting for an apology. An explanation of miscommunications is NOT an apology.
